Starting from nearly scratch in a new home is hard. It’s going to take forever to make this place what I want it to be. Regardless, I finally have Internets!!! Bonus points if you know the reference to my 5G and 2.4G WiFi names. What’s your/your neighbour’s WiFi named?

Ha, that’s almost our guest network name! It Burns When IP is what I went with. Another we use is NSA_Surveil_Chi_60642, I set up my sister’s as Bill Wi the Science Fi.

The_Watchtower for us as our house is up on a hill compared to the other homes around us. The rest of the neighbours are either lame WiFi names named with their family names....other than the one house next door that uses the WiFi name ‘RCMP Surveillance’ :D

Heh back in the day my buddies and I all moved into a house together. One of our neighbors’ wifi was “The beaver den” so of course we had to name ours “the cockpit.”

Ok, not it then. When I was living in that zip code, a neighbor had some sort of WiFi name that said something about the FBI or something like that. This was 5 years ago though.

However, I might be more jealous of the 328. Like any normal human, I love V8s, but the thought of a high performance BMW makes me wonder if I would worry too much about maintenance. (Even through I have always done my own.) The detuned NA I6 seems lovely, and without the worry. Also, being between Chicago and Milwaukee, a manual 328ix, while rare, might be just the ticket for my frequent work-related driving.

I wish they gave it the same power as the pre-LCI 330i, it would be a lot more adequate. It does still drive pretty fantastically. I’ve put 14k on mine in the 6 months I’ve had it.
